Stock indices hit by wave of selling; Buying opportunity or more downside ahead?

There’s been a strong sell-off seen today in stock indices with the DE30 tumbling more than 300 points to fall back below the 13,000 handle. The declines haven’t been confined to Europe, with weakness also seen across the Atlantic as the US30 has fallen back to the psychological level of 26,000. Is this pullback in a good buying opportunity in the prevailing uptrend or the start of a deeper correction?
